Want to take an SAT practice test to help you prepare for the real thing? Preble College Prep offers an SAT preparation course for students in the Tampa, Florida, area that offers the chance to take multiple practice exams. Led by Kathy Preble, who has been teaching in the area for more than 20 years and is currently on the staff at Jesuit High School, our SAT prep course covers the critical reading and writing sections of the SAT, giving students the skills they need to raise their scores. In fact, past students have seen their scores go up by as much as 200 points!
Our SAT Class
Our online SAT class includes eight 90-minute sessions of instruction, with a chance to write and rewrite with feedback and take an SAT practice test. Students from the Tampa, FL, area who enroll in the class will also receive instruction focused on:
- Evidence-based reading – Learn how to make correct word choices, determine an author’s point of view, analyze persuasive techniques, and draw conclusions between paired passages.
- Writing essentials – Learn commonly tested usage errors, logical sequence, and how to craft a high-scoring essay.
- Critical reading – Develop strategies for the sentence completion section of the SAT and practice the six types of questions on the test.
We also offer weekly skill spotlight sessions. These in-person classes focus on crucial reading and writing skills specifically tailored for the SAT and provide valuable insights, tips, and practice opportunities to sharpen your abilities and boost your confidence.
